How to generate a MSFS State Report to gather information about the sim installation

The support team might need you to attach a copy of your MSFS State Report to help diagnose a variety of problems with the sim installation and options.

 

How to generate your MSFS State Report

  • Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator
  • Go to Options > General > Experimental
  • Click on “Create a Report”. An ‘MSFSReport’ text document will be created and a folder of its location will automatically open. If it does not automatically open, use the “Open Containing Folder” button.
  • When submitting a request, click on "Add files" to attach your MSFS State Report to your support request
