Xbox Series X|S - Error message "Purchase pending"

It can take up to a few minutes for the transaction to succeed or fail after you clicked the "Buy" button. 

 

THE PAYMENT POP-UP APPEARED

If the transaction didn't succeed or failed after a few minutes, sign out and then restart the game. 

  1. Click on your gamertag in the top right corner of the screen
  2. Click Sign out
  3. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  4. Highlight Microsoft Flight Simulator then press the Menu button on your controller, and select Quit.
  5. Restart the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

 

THE PAYMENT POP-UP DIDN'T APPEAR

If the payment pop-up didn't appear, disable "Ask before buying" then try again.

  1. Quit Microsoft Flight Simulator
  2. Go to Settings > Account
  3. Select Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Buy & download
  4. Toggle "Ask before buying" Off
  5. Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator and try again.
