If you are having loading, crashing and other issues with the simulator, first thing to do is to see if the issues are caused by one or more of your add-ons you are using with the simulator.
- Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
- In the main menu, select "Marketplace"
- Then select "My library"
- From My library, extend the filter for "Creators" and select all creators except Asobo and Microsoft
- Then select the packages that are shown as "Streamed" and disable these packages
- Close the simulator and rename your "Community" folder, for example, to "TestCommunity" (only on PC)
By default, you can find your community folder for MSFS 2024 in the following locations:- Steam
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community
- MS Store
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
- Steam
- Restart the simulator
- If the issue is resolved:
- Enable packages 1 by 1 until you find the package that is causing the issue
- Move packages from "TestCommunity" folder to "Community" folder 1 by 1 until you find the package that is causing the issue.
- If the issue is caused by one of your 3rd party add-ons installed in your Community folder, contact the developer for further assistance (only on PC)
- If the issue persists -> submit a ticket to Zendesk for further assistance
- If the issue is resolved:
For PC users only
